Hard to believe that September has arrived… which means this is the last few days of summer! With entertaining, traveling, adventures and fun abounding in San Diego, it will be hard to see it go. Luckily, we still have a few days of ‘official’ summer. But it’s not too late to make the most of these couple of weeks. Here are a few ideas to pay homage to what’s left of the precious days:
7. Go to a Padres Game
6. Go to the beach
5. Go to the Annual Julian Star Fest
4. See a Summer Blockbuster
3. Take a Mini-Vacation
2. Spend a day outside in the sun ( with sunscreen of course)
1. Plan a “Last Days of Summer” party with Ranch Events

Since 2014, Ranch Events has been chosen again to cater the “Special Thank You” from Comic-Con International to San Diego Comic-Con Volunteers. If you live in San Diego or even Southern California, you are probably aware that San Diego hosts, every July, the biggest comic convention in the world.

If you are visiting Balboa Park in September and stopped at the Air & Space Museum to see the memorabilia you might have thought Comic Con was back in town. You would be half right in that Comic-Con International was back in San Diego, but this time they were hosting a late lunch to say “Thank You” to all the Comic-Con Volunteers who work the July event.

Corporate Event Trends
Fall is the perfect time to plan a corporate event to get everyone focused on the company and heighten morale. Between the great Southern California weather, Autumn food options and with Ranch Events diverse menu choices you can’t go wrong. Check out these corporate event trends!
Themes & Food
Having a theme for your corporate event can create a lot of excitement and buzz in the office. No matter what season, a corporate Luau seems to be a hit, guests love the Maui BBQ chicken and Kahlua Pork, not to mention it’s a perfect time to break out that Hawaiian shirt nestled in the back of your closet since Summer. If you call Ranch Events to plan your event, you will be in the right place. The food selections Ranch Events features in their Hawaiian menus include many tasty items. As far as the Hawaiian shirt option, you are on your own!!! Other corporate favorites are tri-tip and ribs.
