Our wedding day was beyond perfect!

It is with GREAT pleasure that I recommend Ranch Events and give the highest praise to Bernardo, our wonderful event manager. We rented the Seaside Room in Marina Village for our wedding last week and hired Ranch Events for all of our catering needs, room set-up and food service. It was great to have all of those items taken care of by one vendor. It made our wedding planning a ton easier but what really made it a breeze was working with Bernardo! He was so accommodating and really went out of his way to make sure we had the most amazing day!

Prior to our wedding, Bernardo met with us several times to do food tastings, table settings and walk-thrus at the venue. He and his staff were very generous and offered us wonderful hospitality. Bernardo worked diligently with us to discuss floor plans and decoration options. He was very responsive to my emails and phone calls and always had a positive answer or provided a comparable solution. There didn’t seem to be anything that he couldn’t or wouldn’t do for us.

Our wedding day was beyond perfect! The decorations that he and his team did for us were unbelievable! The room itself has a beautiful view of the marina with a great deck in front and a large connecting patio that we were able to use for our ceremony. The reception room itself is a little dated with oak wood columns but after adding white curtains, drapes, paper lanterns and large sting lights, the room looked GORGEOUS! Bernardo even had an amazing lounge area set-up for us that really added to our layout. Our guests loved taking a load off on a big comfy couch!

We hired Ranch to have servers go around offering appetizers during the cocktail hour and then serve our guests a buffet-style dinner. All of the food was delicious! We got the classic menu with chicken picatta, roasted veggies, two salads, scalloped potatoes and a beef carving station. Bernardo had set the room for four food lines so everyone was able to move through quickly. We also ordered cupcakes and a small cake through Ranch. They offered several flavors and all the options were so delicious! The servers and bartenders we hired through ranch were all very pleasant and accommodating.

An extra special mention to Saul, our head host/captain. He was at our venue the night before our wedding, setting up and perfecting all of our tables. Since we were there for rehearsal already, we were able to set a few things up that night. We asked Saul for extra tables and a few last minute layout changes. Anything we asked, he would go out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was so pleasant to work with and his hard work and dedication was appreciated. The day of our wedding he really made sure that everything ran smooth as well.

The venue, the food, the service, the decorations and the entire experience working with Bernardo and his team was an absolute delight. We were so lucky to have been able to work with Bernardo. He genuinely cared about us and making our day perfect. Our wedding day was better than we ever could have imagined and we owe a lot of that to all the hard work and dedication from Bernardo and his team at Ranch.
