My husband and I are so thankful to have worked with Bernardo and Ranch Events for our wedding this year. After searching several venues and caterers for our large 200+ wedding party, Ranch had everything we needed and more.
Their first biggest selling point was the beautiful venue – we chose the Seaside Room at Marina Village because of its gorgeous harbor views and outdoor patio space. Inside, not only could it hold all our guests and more, it had its own personal bar area and private restrooms. Ranch also provided the tables, linens, cups plates and silverware, and they had a wide selection to choose from that matched our color scheme nicely. The day of our wedding, they did an amazing job decorating and setting up – we were more than impressed!
Their second biggest selling point was the food and bakery! Since Ranch is located at Marina Village, we knew all the food and cake/cupcakes would be made on site, so it would be at its freshest when served. During our menu tasting, all the food was delicious, and it was hard to narrow down our choices! The buffet was definitely the way to go since it gave our guests more food options. We also loved that they let us have a cutting cake AND cupcakes to serve, so we expanded the variety for our guests. Everyone loved the food served at our wedding, and our cake was just as delicious days later!
I can’t forget to mention that they allowed us to bring in our own alcohol for the bar! This was the icing on the cake, as we wanted to host our guests with a bar that wouldn’t break the bank. Ranch provided excellent bartending services and allowed us to have both an outdoor and indoor bar to assist the large crowd during cocktail hour. In fact, all the catering staff, including our captain, were friendly and amazing to work with on our wedding day! They constantly checked on us to make sure we got appetizers/drinks during cocktail hour and served us immediately at the start of dinner so we could mingle with our guests.
It was an absolute pleasure to have Bernardo assisting us from start to finish! He was always quick to answer questions by email, and anytime we came to the venue, he made sure to say hello and see if we needed help with anything. Bernardo would always respect our choices but also made helpful suggestions to help improve our experience. He went above and beyond to make our special day a memorable one!
