If you’re not a foam-finger, hat-wearing, face-painting, sign-waving sports fan, that’s okay. Thanks to tailgating, you can still fall in love with a gathering of friends to watch a sports game and host a tailgate party in your own backyard.
Tailgating, named after the door or gate on the back of a pickup truck, the tailgate, this pre-game tradition has turned into a festival of epic food displays and bonding time with friends. Food lovers can enjoy barbecue entrees to grilled desserts.
Hard to believe that September has arrived… which means this is the last few days of summer! With entertaining, traveling, adventures and fun abounding in San Diego, it will be hard to see it go. Luckily, we still have a few days of ‘official’ summer. But it’s not too late to make the most of these couple of weeks. Here are a few ideas to pay homage to what’s left of the precious days:

Since 2014, Ranch Events has been chosen again to cater the “Special Thank You” from Comic-Con International to San Diego Comic-Con Volunteers. If you live in San Diego or even Southern California, you are probably aware that San Diego hosts, every July, the biggest comic convention in the world.
If you are visiting Balboa Park in September and stopped at the Air & Space Museum to see the memorabilia you might have thought Comic Con was back in town. You would be half right in that Comic-Con International was back in San Diego, but this time they were hosting a late lunch to say “Thank You” to all the Comic-Con Volunteers who work the July event.
