My wedding was May 30th, 2015. From the get go I was very impressed with Ranch Catering. When my husband and I came in for our tasting, Rhonda and the kitchen had pulled out all the stops for us. Everything tasted amazing and we were able to try so much food I felt like they had to roll me out of there afterwards! The setup was beautiful and it was nice to be able to do rentals through them as well. I did not have a wedding coordinator so I did not have much direction but Rhonda was very organized and had a list of things that I needed to address prior to the wedding day. read more

Cheeseburger

For lunch or dinner, America’s favorite sandwich is topped off with a piece of cheese and then enjoyed by millions and celebrated each year on September 18 as it is National Cheeseburger Day.

There are many theories to the beginning of the cheeseburger dating back to the 1920′s.  One story suggests that Lionel Sternberger is reputed to have invented the cheeseburger in 1926 while working at his father’s Pasadena, California sandwich shop, “The Rite Spot”.   During an experiment, he dropped a slice of American cheese on a sizzling hamburger. read more

The “Navy Region Southwest Chief Petty Officer Foundation,” was honored to host their 12th Annual Navy Chief Petty Officer’s Pride Day on Friday, September 11, 2015 in San Diego to celebrate chief’s teamwork and heritage. This event for 2500 military personnel was held at the Seaport Village Marina’s South Park.

Ranch Events had the honor of being chosen for the fourth year in a row as the catering company of choice. This celebration was an all day affair beginning at 9 am in the morning and ending at 3 p.m. The food was cooked on-site and was served from 5 double sided buffet lines. read more
