Celebrate National Creme Brulee Day, July 27th

Posted on July 27, 2015

Creme Brulee

The French, British and Spanish all claim they invented Creme Brulee. One thing’s certain, though: Cracking the top is always fun. The dessert consists of a caramelized layer of sugar over a custard base. The topping is made by using a torch or heating device to melt the sugar, which then hardens as it cools.

Some delicious variations of Creme Brulee are:
Creme Brulee
Creme Brulee Cheesecake
Apple Creme Brulee
Pumpkin Creme Brulee
Butterfinger Creme Brulee
Chocolate Creme Brulee

Start your diet tomorrow, because today there’s a reason to celebrate! What better way to celebrate than to have one or more, if you dare, of the choices listed above.
