San Diego, California. Home of the Chargers and Padres, some beautiful beaches, and the 6th largest zoo in the world, is also the host venue for the world’s largest comic convention. Hundreds of thousands excited fans travel to San Diego to experience a once in a life time event. Fans will experience the latest in comics, movies, TV, games, collectibles and pop culture. There will be a full slate of panels, talent signings, demonstrations and beautiful booths.
Ranch Events is proud and honored to participate in this annual San Diego event and works closely with Comic Con to help plan and execute the party. There are between 400-600 people attending this get-together and Ranch welcomes all attendees. This past year the event was held right before the July Convention at the beautiful San Diego Hall of Champions.
With a forty plus year history, Comic-Con International holds its annual July convention in San Diego. This convention is the most highly acclaimed gathering of people from all walks of life that come from everywhere in the world. For just half a week, the San Diego bay front and surrounding bars, restaurants and hotels are transformed into an elaborate extension of the 45-year-old comic’s convention. This event has grown to include film, television, video games and toys. During the convention, science fiction, fantasy and comic book culture now rule the San Diego “world”. Comic-Con and San Diego is where people come to celebrate that fact.
The love of the comic’s medium continues to be Comic Con’s guiding factor as the event moves toward its second half –century as the premier comic book and popular arts style convention in the world. Fans ascend on San Diego for four plus days to celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and our culture.
