If you are looking for a reason to have a party in the autumn; let Ranch Events offer you some entertaining and fun suggestions. With its rich colors and harvest time for many local growers, fall lends plenty of ideas for event inspirations. Here are some thoughts that will call to mind the season’s flavor through menu items, color schemes, and more.
Fall Brunch Bash – Ranch Events can help you plan a Brunch for your family and friends. You will be able to find some of your favorite fall foods in our wide range of menu offerings. Our Bakery Chefs will dazzle you with our pumpkin or apples pie desserts. Seasonal decorations can include hay bales and scattered leaves near a chalkboard that display the Brunch menu. For the table centerpieces and throughout the venue, our Floral Department can create floral arrangements that showcase rich, autumnal colors and fall foliage. These floral designs will add warmth and beauty to any setting.
Tailgate Party – Everyone loves a good tailgate party even if there isn’t a Big Game. A tailgate theme for your event can be fun and casual. Encourage family and guests to wear their favorite sports team gear and get ready for competitive sports talk! Decorate the party with your team’s colors mascot and football decorations. Aim to cater foods that are easy and fun to eat. Ranch Events chefs can prepare delicious finger food, scrumptious dips with chips, hot wings, deviled eggs or anything you can think of to serve at your Tailgate. We can grill burgers and dogs that your guests will love as we all know everything tastes better when it’s cooked on the grill.
Back to School Party – Gather your family and friends together and celebrate the start of a new school year with a back to school fall theme party. Plan a back to school party to celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Our Event Coordinators can help you select the perfect menu and our Rentals Department can provide anything you will need to make your party perfect. Decorate the party room with apples, books, chalkboards, globes, and maps. At the end of the party, treat your guest to delicious back to school cupcakes. Our Bakery Department will “know your socks off” with its yummy and creative cupcake ideas.
Oktoberfest – Ranch Events Coordinators can help you plan a traditional German Oktoberfest party for October. For this party, you’ll need plenty of beer that you purchase from a local store. Ranch Chefs can prepare the sausages, bratwurst, and knackwurst or anything you would like to serve. Be sure to ask your Event Coordinator about the many side dishes that our Chefs can make: German potato salad and red cabbage with apples, bacon and sauerkraut just to name a few. Use the traditional blue and white diamond pattern on cups, plates and napkins. Ranch Events can provide a DJ that can play the traditional “Oompah” Oktoberfest music throughout the party. Prepare yourself for a fun and rowdy time!
Fall Cookie Party – Invite you family and friends over for a fall cookie decorating extravaganza! This type of party may sound like it should be “just for the kids”, but adults have great fun. Ranch Events can provide the “eats” and any table rentals you might need. Your guests will prepare the desserts to eat and to take home for freezing and later use. This fall party is a great way to start to get ready for the holiday baking season. Sugar cookies are always a hit especially when you use seasonal cookie cutters, such as leaves, pumpkins, Christmas trees and Santa to make them look festive. For decorations, have a variety of different flavors and colors of icing.
Backyard Fire Pit Party – A fire pit in the backyard is a great place to come together. Bring in a portable fire pit to set the stage for a magical and warm nighttime gathering. Ranch Events can provide just the menu you need for this fun filled party. Ranch Events can grill burgers and dogs, and the aroma will give all of your guests a great appetite. Speak to your Ranch Events Coordinator about the side dishes that can be added to this outside festivity. The Ranch Chefs will amaze you with their mouth watering side dishes of chili, potato salad, baked beans and anything else you might like to add. Grilled Corn-on-the-cob is also a guest pleaser. Don’t forget to fill a Crockpot with apple cider for your guests to drink throughout the evening. Our Bakery Chefs won’t let you down as they can provide any type of dessert that will fit this occasion. Small pumpkin tarts, apple spice mini cakes, oatmeal raisin cookies can top your list. For the perfect décor, scatter hay bales away from the fire pit to provide extra seats and tables. Cover the bales with warm blankets for party guests to sit on or use. Throw blankets made from simple cuts of fleece from a fabrics store can keep guests toasty when they’re not settled by the fire.
If the ideas above aren’t your “thing”, our experienced Event Planners can offer many more suggestions to help you capture the season’s party themes.
