Since 2014, Ranch Events has been chosen again to cater the “Special Thank You” from Comic-Con International to San Diego Comic-Con Volunteers. If you live in San Diego or even Southern California, you are probably aware that San Diego hosts, every July, the biggest comic convention in the world.
If you are visiting Balboa Park in September and stopped at the Air & Space Museum to see the memorabilia you might have thought Comic Con was back in town. You would be half right in that Comic-Con International was back in San Diego, but this time they were hosting a late lunch to say “Thank You” to all the Comic-Con Volunteers who work the July event.
Many of the volunteers will come dressed in comic character regalia to help officially close the 2024 Comic Con year. The volunteers will enjoy a raffle from Comic-Con International and a myriad of food stations provided by Ranch Events. Like the volunteers, many of the Ranch Events staff dressed for the occasion as well.
The 600 Comic Con Volunteers will start to arriving around 3 pm and before a short meeting to kick off the Thank You meal most will scope out all the different food sections to see what food choices will be available and to determine what station they would go to first. Ranch Events out does itself…by providing a variety of food stations for this event. There will be a Mexican food station, a BBQ Station, an Italian Station, a Cajun Station, a Sweets Station and -2- Beverage Stations. Some of the food will be cooked on-site, so the food aromas in the room are swirling and smells will make your mouth water.
The volunteers will be smiling when the event is over as they will have enjoyed the many different delicious food choices that Ranch Events provided.
