Ranch Events Consultant Julie Castro received a SPECIAL Thank You from Valerie Bykoff for Julie’s help in the wedding planning at the Junipero Serra Museum. Valerie posted the following on Google:

Working with Julie to decide what we were looking for, for our wedding (she was so flexible and patient!), to our wonderful tasting, to multiple planning meetings with Julie, culminating with the big day at the Museum. The Ranch Events team can throw a party. The team was so professional and efficient, the bartenders so fun and engaging, and the FOOD was so delicious everyone told me how impressed they were with their meals. And let me not forget to mention the desserts. We had a three-layer cake, with each layer being a different flavor, and all the flavors were amazing. We chose a whipped cream frosting, so it was light and fluffy, and the cake itself had so much flavor. I can’t thank the Ranch Events team and Julie enough for making my day perfect and working with me every step of the way.”
The dinner table has long been a place of gathering, a place to eat, a place to share experiences and a place to enjoy one another. Sharing a meal can create a sense of equality and can lead us to be more accepting of people of other backgrounds, whether it be race, religion or political leanings.
The connections that are built when sharing a meal, whether it is with one’s family or with others, are powerful. For instance, it’s a good time to catch up with old friends, tell stories, tell jokes, laugh, and of course, enjoy good food. It offers a space where we can talk over our thoughts and listen to others experiences, life stories and memories. The food shared can also become a topic of conversation and lead to discovering shared experiences and interests. It is essential in building and binding a community.
Madison and JoJo Roper worked closely with Ranch Events Event Consultant Megan Diggins throughout the planning process for their wedding. The wedding was held at Rancho Guejito Vineyard located in Escondido. The couple posted the following on YELP:

Megan was our main point of contact and was nothing but savvy and open-minded to our food & beverage ideas, creatively bringing them to life in a functional and beautiful manner. We are the third couple in our family to utilize RE for rehearsal dinners & weddings, and year over year they always do an amazing job. For our rehearsal dinner, we had buffet island style food that RE set up at our parents backyard that was a nice casual yet perfectly celebratory dinner style to kick off the weekend.
