Turkey is an excellent source of lean protein, but not everyone is a fan of the famous holiday bird. So why not try another main attraction for your Thanksgiving table? Consider these other options:
Baked Ham. Next to turkey, ham might be the second-most popular main dish served during the holiday season. Try baking ham in champagne. This change to how you bake ham will have your guests saying “What turkey?”
Chicken Breast. Chicken is another safe bet for non-turkey Thanksgiving, because it is a dish that everyone is familiar with. The chicken breasts can even be split and stuffed.
Ranch Events wants to say THANK YOU to all of our military service men and women who served or are now serving in one of our military branches. Without your service and dedication our Nation would not enjoy the liberties and freedom we have today.
Veterans Day originated as “Armistice Day” on Nov. 11, 1919 to commemorate the end of World War I. The day became an annual observance in 1926 and Nov. 11 became a national holiday in 1938.
Armistice Day was changed to Veterans Day on June 1, 1954 to recognize all veterans and not just those who served in World War I.
My husband and I used Ranch Events catering service for our wedding at Marina Village on 10/18/15. Ranch Events was nothing short of AMAZING! Rhonda was there for every question I had and was very accommodating when I needed to make changes. The food was perfect. All of our guests continue to talk about how great the food was. The set up was beautiful and the servers were very polite and helpful. The supervisor assigned to my event made sure everything was perfect and what we wanted. He went out of his way to ensure that we were satisfied. I would definitely recommend Ranch Events!
