“I worked with Ranch events because they manage and cater all events held in the Seaside Room at Marina Village. To be completely honest, I was pretty skeptical when I first booked with them. The venue is pretty dated and has a bit of an awkward floor plan. However, I knew that I wanted to be near the water, BYOB, 200+ capacity, and something that wouldn’t break the bank. The Seaside room through Ranch events is pretty much the only venue in San Diego that fit the bill so I booked with them…and I’m so glad I did!
When my husband and I first walked into the room on our wedding day, we couldn’t believe it. It was absolutely GORGEOUS. The lighting was perfect and the backdrop of our sweetheart table was an unbelievable sunset. Our guests raved about the food and said that the cake was some of the best cake they’d ever had. If you ever visit their office, they will always office you a slice
Leading up to our wedding, Ranch events unbelievably flexible. I originally started working with Ranch Events in late 2019. I was an out of state, military, and “COVID season” bride so flexibility was key for me. I had to reschedule my wedding from January 2021 to December 2021 and Ranch did not give me any issues and even kept my original rate. I started out working with Kim and then worked with Ramon for the last 6 months because Kim moved out of state. Both were awesome to work with and responsive.
Overall a pleasant experience and I wouldn’t have wanted to have my wedding anywhere else.”
